The Nun II
New Line Cinema presenteert de horror-thriller The Nun II, het volgende hoofdstuk in het verhaal van The Nun, het meest succesvolle deel uit de populaire miljardenfranchise: het Conjuring-universum. Frankrijk, 1956. Er wordt een priester vermoord. Een kwaad verspreidt zich. In dit vervolg op de wereldwijde filmhit komt zuster Irene opnieuw oog in oog te staan met Valak, de demonische non.
Taissa Farmiga (“The Nun”, “The Gilded Age”) keert terug als zuster Irene. Ze wordt bijgestaan door Jonas Bloquet (“Tirailleurs”, “The Nun”) als Maurice, Storm Reid (“The Last of Us”, “The Suicide Squad”) als zuster Debra, Anna Popplewell (“Fairytale”, “The Chronicles of Narnia”-trilogie) als Kate, Bonnie Aarons (in dezelfde rol als in “The Nun”) en een gevarieerde cast vol internationaal talent: Katelyn Rose Downey (“The Princess”) als Sophie, Suzanne Bertish (“Dead Ringers”) als Madame Laurent, Léontine D’Oncieu (“Two Tickets to Greece”) als Simone, Anouk Darwin Homewood (“The Flood”) als Celeste en Gael Raës (“Simone: Woman of the Century) als Cedric. Michael Chaves (“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”) regisseert de film.
